Overview
Chalkline Sports, a leading figure in the sports sector, offers a customisable free-to-play picking games platform. This product is specifically designed for sports betting and gambling brands within the United States.
Prior to our new design initiative, launching a product for a new client took a strenuous two weeks. Presented with this challenge, and in my role as the sole lead product designer, I was entrusted with the task of crafting a system to hasten this procedure whilst upholding brand integrity.
Creating a Customisable Design System
Working closely with the development team, we designed and implemented a robust design system.
The design system catered to the unique needs of our clients and allowed them to modify our products efficiently.
As a result, the launch time for new clients decreased from two weeks to just one day.
Improving the Product
In addition to the design system, I also focused on improving the product and introducing new features.
I spearheaded the development of smart landing pages to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
I also incorporated live games and leaderboards to provide a dynamic and interactive experience for users.
Impact and Result
The implementation of the design system and the introduction of new features had a significant impact on Chalkline Games.
We observed an increase in user engagement and retention, leading to higher conversion rates for our clients.
The streamlined launch process for new clients resulted in improved client satisfaction and faster time-to-market.
Conclusion
My experience as a Lead Product Designer at Chalkline Sports, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving impactful design initiatives, has prepared me well for future opportunities.
